With support from community leaders, fire fighters, friends and volunteers, The Fire Fighter Foundation of Houston will host its landmark kick-off event and fundraiser on September 11, 2006 to celebrate our local heroes and honor of the fifth anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001. The Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston has announced the donation of life-saving equipment and more to the Houston Fire Department (HFD). The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in 2006 to provide support to HFD.
The Houston Fire Fighters Foundation (FFFH) has been established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and is the only foundation in Houston to provide non-governmental funding to Houston’s fire fighters.
