Houston’s firefighters
answer every call.
So do we.
For twenty years, the Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston has funded the life-saving equipment the city budget doesn’t. More than 90 cents of every dollar buys what our firefighters actually use. Twenty years funding the life-saving equipment the city budget doesn’t.
Two ways to stand with
Houston’s firefighters.
Individuals give in someone’s name. Companies bring their resources. Both end up buying the same thing, equipment on a truck.
Give in their name.
Most gifts honor someone specific. A firefighter, a neighbor, a friend. Every tribute gift buys equipment for the next crew.

Every Houston campus is served by an HFD station. Friends of Houston Firefighters makes that relationship official.

Answering the Call
Join us at 51fifteen (In The Galleria) for our signature evening: dinner, cocktails, exciting auction, and live music by Mango Punch. Individual tickets are $150. More than 90 cents of every dollar goes directly to purchasing life-saving equipment for Houston's 4,000 firefighters.
The boats that saved lives.
When Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston, our donor-funded rescue boats were already in place. Firefighters used them to pull neighbors from second-floor windows. People who would not have made it out otherwise.
The same quiet logic applies to cancer. Firefighters die of job-related cancer more often than fire itself. The Foundation has placed extractor machines in all 93 stations, the single most effective intervention against carcinogens trapped in their turnout gear.

Our donors see exactly what their money bought, down to the vendor, the date, the line item. Twenty years of equipment purchases, publicly logged. That’s how we’ve earned $3.29M in trust.

Twenty years of equipment purchases, itemized by vendor, date, and dollar amount. Form 990 filings. Annual financial statements. We publish all of it because that is how we keep the trust of the donors who make this work possible.
