The Foundation returned on September 11, 2007 for its second annual dinner, keeping the anniversary date it had chosen at the outset.
By then the organisation had established itself as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and, by its own description, the only foundation in Houston providing non-governmental funding to the city’s firefighters.
